When flying in the territory of the Czech Republic, you need to have a radiotelephone operator's license. A pilot must obtain a radio operator's license at least before the first solo flight. A radiotelephone operator's license entitles you to use a radio on board an aircraft.
This license entitles the holder to use the radiotelephone only within a limited geographical area (CR)
This license entitles the holder to use a radiotelephone in the international air traffic without limitation of geographical territory. (recommended)
The license can be obtained by taking an exam at the Czech Telecommunications Authority or at our Dutch partner.
The advantage of taking the exam with our Dutch partner organization is the absence of a written test, less time required to take the exam and faster appointment booking. After passing the exam, you will receive a certificate, on the basis of which CTU will issue you a General Radiotelephone Operator's License.
